friday!! teacher's day celebration! fun!
the day was full of it's prezzies to different special teacher's, the performances of gymnastis and dances, and to end off, a pathetic class party? guess we've all lost the enthusiam, compared to the sec 2 and 3s.. just look at their class spirit.. in sec 4, most of us just pon school on such a day or don't get passionately involved.. sighs.. still, quite fun! planned to meet up with LIZA and still had some time to kill, so, felicia and i hopped down to tiong.. to.. walk walk! hahas though the time was short, i enjoyed it! =DD
met up with LIZA, she brought her bf.. felt kinda weird, but then, got used to it in a while.. well, when we first arranged to meet, i was filled with anxiety, excitement and suspense all at once! i din know wat to expect and most of all how it would all turn out! it was scary.. but i did not wan to miss this rare opportunity.. and.. i'm glad i went!! there was so much familiarity between us that i felt we were still in the same school, guess i kinda went back in time to when we were as close as close could be.. we caught up on each others' life and really just toked and toked like there was no tomorro.. hahahahahahs, it was HILARIOUS AND EXCITING! we toked over lunch(though we din eat, only her bf did) hahahs, and over tea at coffee bean(now, it was liza eating) =P we chatted bout the past, the times we spent.. and the quarrels we got into(which was quite often for the 4 of us) and the present, how we were coping with the stresses of o levels and even bout clara and yun wei! we decided it would be great if the 4 of us met up after the O's!! lets hope we'll be able to! well, to mark the exciting occasion, we went to take neoprints!! here they are! >>
later on, i decided to go and join simin and laurentia on their dress hunt shopping spree! hahas, for prom.. laurentia gotta wear a dress! or something formal.. i was excited! (smiles cheekily) =P i know they needed me and so, i flew to their aid! hahahs, they needed my opinions and my chirpiness to cheer them up! hey, shopping could be extremely draining and so, eVaNgELiNe to the rescue!! hahas, i know they were happy to see me k, just that their words did not do their heartfelt feelings justice.. hahahhaahah!when i saw them, they were on a bench and kinda knocked out.. hahahs.. and so, i was there to boost their enery! soon after munching on some leftover chips and sprite, we were off! and imagine my enthusiam!! hahahahs, i only like to help others shop and give my views on wat they are trying on, never will they see me trying on anything! seriously! hahahahasthere were a few shops tat we went into and browsed thru.. it was quite a challenge to find something that laurentia like, cos she gotta step out of her comfort zone.. and i know how difficult that could..
when our poor feet could no longer bear the strain, we decided to chill at coffee bean! ooh lala! hahas, now, i was hungry, haven't really eaten a proper meal the whole day! (for the record, i did not eat a proper meal that whole day! and boy was i hungry the next day- planting event)

Heart to heart talk with Si Min as we walked home. never knew we actually went thru the same experience! my EXACT sentiments the way u seem to have gone thru it.. if only we knew and shared..
den made a slow and reluctant trip to church.. sighs, been feelin quite left out in church? guess everyone feels like dis once in a while.. haha.
still, i tried to offer help as best as i could.. soon, i tink i caught on the the excitement-finally! and started out on a signboard namely, the KRAZY KUISINE.. and since rachel and i were unable to complete it, we had to come back the next morning! well, tat sorta pushed me on to actually coming for the event, the hard decision was finally made, i can't leave my creation to be completed by someone else, i'll be letting myself down if it din look nice..
this is just spilling into the next day, i set my alarm and woke up.. that was the crucial period.. to go or not to go, tat was the question..=P and so, i wiped out my devotions book for God to lead me thru, even though i knew where He wanted me.. where i can grow spiritually and where the fellow christians are.. i struggled but ultimately, needless to say, God won.. Acts 2:42-47 devotion:a story which says.. one may feel uncomfortable in a youth group at times, but God wants us to grow and grow in the right path - to do so, we gotta be surrounded by God's people as they are a source of strength as well.. and so, i went!
WOW, yea there were times i still felt funny but when the people came.. i blended right in.. the games were fun, the friends that came were fun! oh, everything just fitted nicely and now, i no longer feel that pang of loneliness.. i was super touched firstly when Atticus(my cousin) dedicated a song to me.. i mean, really, small acts but it went a long way! secondly, it was great to have JIE NI AND PETRINA there.. long time no see petrina, but it still felt like we saw each other everyday! Jie Ni, although we got close on msn, i felt that we were like best friens thru the years alr! amazing how God works in my life! And so, with this, the day ran smoothly, all the way till night time, i thot with the sudden lack of activities, i would break down again at night.. but no.. thru the way with joel, smses from lester and ivan, it was fun chats all the way till sleeping time! fun!! fun!! FUN! (:*END*
